Today, Crawfordville Elementary School proudly honored the brave men and women who have served our country with a special Veterans Day program. Students, staff, and families gathered together to express their gratitude and respect for those who have defended our freedom. The program featured heartfelt student performances and our guest speaker, Mr. Nobles who shared meaningful words about the importance of service and sacrifice. Veterans from our community were recognized and celebrated for their dedication to protecting our nation. We are deeply thankful to all the veterans who joined us today and to everyone who helped make this event possible. Crawfordville Elementary is proud to continue this tradition of honoring our heroes and teaching our students the true meaning of Veterans Day. 🇺🇸

Mrs. Welch's 3rd grade class has been learning about potential and kinetic energy and how they relate to force and motion. We built catapults using rubber bands and craft sticks, then we launched candy pumpkins and measured how far they traveled. Finally, we discussed the reasons why some pumpkins traveled farther than others!

Mrs. Lankford’s class is having fun with geography! Today her students used balloons to make globes. They also learned about natural resources found across the United States by reading the book, How to Make a Cherry Pie and see the U.S.A. and were able to try a cherry pie of their own.
