Science on the Move🔬🧪
Today our 5th grade students had a full day of hands-on learning with Science on the Move! They explored exciting science concepts through interactive experiments and engaging activities. It was a fun-filled day of discovery, curiosity, and learning. Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible for our students!
Save the Date for Crawfordville Elementary's next All Pro Dad Meeting – March 10
All Cougar Dads and father figures are invited to join us for our next All Pro Dad meeting on March 10, 2026, from 8:00–8:25 AM in the cafeteria.
This month’s topic is Patience, and we’ll spend quality time encouraging our kids through meaningful conversations and activities that build strong character.
Juice and breakfast bars will be served.

Wakulla County Schools is excited to offer Summer Enrichment Camp for students who have completed Kindergarten through 4th grade (ages 6–10). Each week features a new theme, hands-on activities, and a fun field trip to keep students active, learning, and engaged all summer long!
📅 Camp runs June and July | Mondays–Thursdays
⏰ 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
đź’˛ $250 per week (includes breakfast, lunch, snack, and field trips)
Extended Day available until 5:30 PM for $50 per week

Parents may register through their FOCUS Parent Portal by selecting Forms Summary and completing the Summer Enrichment Registration form. A $50 non-refundable deposit per week is required to secure your child’s spot. Spots are limited and fill quickly, so we encourage families to register early.

Literacy Week Activity
Mrs. Kelly’s 5th grade and Mrs. Bartnick’s 2nd grade classes paired students for an informational text reading that supported readers with feedback and allowed for text discussion.

Our Kindergarten and 3rd grade students teamed up for a special Buddy Reading time! The older students did a wonderful job reading with their kindergarten friends, helping with words, and sharing their love of books.

Mrs. Stallings' class wrapped up an exciting science unit all about plant parts!
They explored how parent plants and young plants can have similar traits and also learned how they can be different. Hands-on learning and great discussions made this unit a success!
Mrs. Fenenbock's class did an amazing job on their Black History Research Projects! They conducted their own online research, completed a 5 Ws graphic organizer, and wrote thoughtful essays about their chosen influential Black leaders. We are so proud of their hard work and the knowledge they gained through this meaningful project!

Last week, our third graders stepped outside the classroom and into history with a visit to the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit in Tallahassee.
Presented by the Commemorative Air Force Red Tail Squadron, the exhibit preserves and shares the inspiring legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen.
We are proud of our third graders for representing Crawfordville Elementary so well and for engaging thoughtfully with such an important chapter of history.
