Mrs. Stallings' class put the scientific method to the test this week! They explored which materials float best, then used what they learned to design and build their own boats. After making predictions, they tested how many “bears” each boat could hold before sinking. The winning boat held an impressive 79 bears—what an incredible accomplishment! Hands-on learning + creativity = a fantastic week in our classroom!

Our 5th graders put their thinking caps to the test during our Brain Brawl competition—and wow, did they impress! Students worked together to solve challenging questions, think critically, and show off all they’ve learned this year. The teamwork, determination, and excitement in the room made it such a fun and memorable event! We are so proud of all of our participants for giving it their best and supporting one another along the way. Way to go!

Mrs. McLeod and Mrs. Sultemeier’s classes had a blast with a math fact fluency egg hunt! 🐣 Each student found one egg with a letter inside, then worked to find their partner and get into alphabetical order. Once they were lined up, they practiced their addition fluency by quizzing each other with flashcards. Learning + fun = a great day!

Our Young Environmental Leaders Club made a big impact on campus! They worked hard to clear a raised garden bed of weeds, getting it ready for our 2nd graders to begin their Tops and Bottoms project this week. Afterward, they took time to clean up the playground—picking up trash, jackets, and even lots of socks! To wrap up their day of service, students returned to the lab and wrote thoughtful service announcements to share with the school. We are so proud of their leadership, teamwork, and commitment to keeping our campus clean and beautiful!
